The Tremblars is a comic about love, duty and family dysfunction with occasional jaunts into the surreal. It is written and drawn by L S Marquez whenever there’s a lull at work.

Suzie Tremblar is an emigre from the Philippines who works from home as a web developer.

Pieter Ding is Suzie’s husband who teaches engineering at a technical university in downtown Auckland.

Betty Tremblar is Suzie’s older sister who lives in the U.S. and works as a registered nurse.

Teresa Tremblar is Suzie and Betty’s mother, an artist’s model and famous beauty who lives in Manila.

Ausencio Tremblar is Suzie and Betty’s father, a successful businessman who struggles with retirement.
